I work with teens, young adults, and adults (ages 10+) who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. Many of my clients come to therapy for support with anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, relationship stress, and major life transitions.
I especially enjoy working with people who are self-aware and motivated, but need new tools, perspective, or support breaking unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Some clients are brand new to therapy; others have been in counseling before and are looking to go deeper or try a different approach.
Yes. I work with adults who have ADHD and/or ADHD-related concerns (attention, procrastination, overwhelm, time management, emotional reactivity, and motivation). We focus on practical, skills-based strategies, routines, and coping tools, often alongside support for anxiety, depression, or burnout that can co-occur with ADHD. If you’re not formally diagnosed, we can still work on symptoms and next steps; I can also help you explore whether an evaluation could be useful.
Yes. I work with teens experiencing ADHD and/or anxiety (including school stress, social anxiety, panic symptoms, perfectionism, and overwhelm). Sessions are tailored to the teen’s needs and may include skills practice, emotional regulation tools, and communication support. When appropriate, I also include parent/guardian check-ins to support carryover at home while respecting teen privacy and confidentiality.
Yes. I offer telehealth to clients located anywhere in Washington State. Sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. As long as you are physically in Washington at the time of session, we can meet via telehealth.

An EAP (Employee Assistance Program) is usually a short-term, employer-sponsored benefit that offers a limited number of sessions focused on a specific concern (stress, burnout, conflict, or a recent life event). It’s often designed for brief support, problem-solving, and stabilizing skills.
Therapy (using insurance or private pay) is typically more flexible in length and scope. It can support deeper, ongoing work, like long-term anxiety/depression patterns, trauma recovery, ADHD skills, relationships, identity, and sustained behavior change.
If you start with EAP and want to continue after your EAP sessions end, we can talk about options to transition into ongoing therapy if it’s a good fit (depending on availability and your coverage).
You can contact us through our HIPAA- compliant phone via text or voice at 253-382-9506 or email at Stephanie@StephanieGroepper.com to schedule your initial session. Online scheduling is also available at https://stephanie-groepper.clientsecure.me
Once your session is scheduled and approved you will receive a link which can be accessed via computer or mobile device to access your session much like a zoom session but these sessions meet HIPAA secure requirements.
I do not prescribe to just one treatment approach because I believe that things are not one size fits all. I do heavily lean into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a person centered approach based upon working with a high population of individuals working through anxiety, self harm and depression. I do also pull concepts from family systems, Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Play-Therapy, Positive psychology, Solution-Focused Brief therapy (SFBT) and always with a trauma focused approach. I want to work with you to determine which approach is going to work best for you because ultimately, you are the expert of your life and I'm just here to help you through a rough patch.
