Stephanie earned her Master’s degree in Education with a focus in School Counseling from City University of Seattle and is a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. Following graduation, she worked in school settings supporting students ages 4–19. Prior to her work in schools, she spent nine years serving surviving spouses and children of fallen military service members.
During her time in the school system, Stephanie recognized that the structure often required brief, crisis-focused support rather than the deeper, ongoing mental health work students needed. Wanting to provide more comprehensive care and meaningful therapeutic change, she pursued full licensure in mental health counseling.
Stephanie views counseling as a space for learning, growth, and empowerment—a place where clients feel seen, supported, and reminded they are not alone in their journey. She enjoys working with teens, young adults, and adults.
She has experience supporting children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, ADHD, grief and loss, and trauma, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
Stephanie believes the therapeutic process looks different for every individual. By building a collaborative counseling relationship, she works alongside clients to help them identify goals, develop insight, and create lasting change.
She provides telehealth counseling to clients ages 10 and older throughout Washington State.
